Your mission
The IT Systems Administrator is responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and reliable operation of the organization’s IT infrastructure. This includes managing servers, networks, and security systems to ensure high availability and performance. The role involves proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting both on-premises and cloud-based systems. The IT Systems Administrator collaborates with IT and business teams to implement solutions that align with organizational goals and security standards.
Your roles and responsibilities:
- Administration, configuration, and optimization of the existing system landscape (Windows servers, Active Directory, Exchange, EntraID, DNS, DHCP, CA etc.)
- Administration, configuration, and optimization of the virtualization landscape (VM Ware)
- Support and administration of various IT systems to ensure stable and secure operation (i.e. Cisco call manager, Firewall, VPN, backup etc.)
- User support, problem analysis and troubleshooting as well as documenting the troubleshooting steps in internal knowledge database
- Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Participation and management of varied IT projects and involvement in the optimization of the IT infrastructure as well as development and implementation of new IT solutions in the company
